Canned fruit like peaches, annanas, apricots, pears or mango offers us great advantages all year round and makes stockpiling easy. Fresh fruit spoils quickly and is not always available. Del Monte began trading plant-based foods in California in 1886. In 1907, “The Cannery” was built. The historic building is now one of San Francisco's treasured landmarks.
