Melitta - coffee enjoyment with a long tradition

The whole world of coffee - Melitta is named after the inventor of the coffee filter of the same name: In 1908, Melitta Bentz developed the idea for a filter pot with matching filter paper. The simple yet ingenious idea prompted the energetic Dresden native to found her company. Today, the group of companies is based in Minden, Westphalia, and produces not only many filter coffees and pads, but also fully automatic coffee machines.
